How to Ride

Customer Policy for Scheduling and Riding

Please be patient when calling in to schedule your ride.

Please be courteous with the driver and other passengers.

Riding

  • For the safety of all riders, please wait until the driver has stopped driving to ask questions.

  • All passengers must wear seat belts, child car seat or wheelchair restraints in use while the vehicle is moving.

Pets

  • Pets must be in a proper carrier. Service animals are exempt.

  • Do not pet guide dogs or other service animals without the permissions of the owner.

Behavior

  • Food and drinks must be in a closed spill-proof container. Refrain from eating on the bus, unless medically necessary.

  • No use of tobacco, alcohol and/or possession of illegal drugs allowed on the bus.

  • Fighting, throwing things, pushing, shouting, spitting, vulgar language, lewd or inappropriate behavior, and vandalism are prohibited on the bus.

  • Reasonable hygiene is expected

Baggage

  • Aisles are to be kept clear of any obstacles. Strollers, packages, etc. must be kept under seats.

  • Please understand we must accommodate all riders, some bags may be limited.

  • Reasonable accommodations may be available upon request.

Southern Iowa Trolley reserves the right to refuse service for violation of these policy.

Failure to comply with the above expectations may result in appropriate legal and/or disciplinary actions, including suspension from using Southern Iowa Trolley services.
